What is Art Therapy?
Art Therapy is a human service profession that uses art media, images, art processes and client responses to create products as the reflections of personal development, abilities, personality, interests, concerns & conflicts.
Art therapy encourages one to express his or her emotions and struggles using a wide range of art making techniques.
Art therapy does not solely focus on the artistic skills of a person but also the engagement in a creative and therapeutic art making process that can bring about personal growth and positivity.

Clinical Art Therapy
Art Therapy practice is based on knowledge of human developmental and psychological theories, and is implemented over a wide range of assessment and treatment such as educational, psychodynamic, cognitive, transpersonal and other therapeutic means. Some benefits of Art Therapy include reconciling emotional conflicts, fostering self-awareness, developing social skills, managing behaviour, reducing anxiety, aiding reality orientation and increasing self-esteem.
This knowledge will be shared by our certified and experienced art therapists who will conduct the art therapy workshops, lectures and art experiential(s).
