The natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights captures the electrifying and awe-inspiring emotions the artist had when she first saw images of Northern Lights.

Using a winter landscape, with an expanse of snow to soften the reflection of the stunning colours of the atmosphere. The tall fir trees stand and strong against the fierce weight of the lights bearing down on them, much like how humans could be under an invisible pressure from our environment as well.
