“I chose the African Penguin, the Great Panda, and the Tiger. I remember when I went to the Singapore Zoo and see these animals, I find them cute and majestic. When the teachers told me what endangered means, I felt sad that these animals are in danger. I want them to continue to thrive so I can continue enjoying them.” – Nurin

Nurin Farisha Binte Abdullah is a 15-year-old girl who is diagnosed with Larsen syndrome and bilateral hearing loss. Larsen syndrome is a disorder that impacts the development of bones, which may lead to hearing loss, spine abnormality and joint problems. Nurin enjoys doing zentangle patterns and she likes to give herself new challenges in order to improve her art skills! In her free time, she enjoys listening to Korean pop music and her favourite band is Blackpink.
