We are grateful to be part of this meaningful project: Art Jam Science Park by Singapore Science Park, CapitaLand Development.
It features the collaboration with artists with disabilities from Art:Dis, Rainbow Centre, MINDS, Touch Community, and METTA Arts, and our own artists from Art for Good. It is a privilege to be part of this initiative and the organizing team for the workshops for the community.
Celebrating Singapore Science Park's 40th Anniversary, CapitaLand Development unveils Art Jam Science Park. This project is designed to embrace diversity and inclusivity by showcasing artworks created by persons with disabilities, provide opportunities for giving back, while fostering inclusivity and community engagement.
More than 150 volunteers from the Singapore Science Park community, which included representatives from the organisations that adopted the benches, collaborated with 45 talented individuals from the initiative's charity partners to collectively paint the benches. 40 picnic benches have been chosen as the canvas as they symbolise socialising and community, nature and sustainability, leisure and recreation, as well as equality and inclusion.
