Art for Good has empowered my children to express themselves through art. My younger son is now able to self regulate so much better.The therapist from Art for Good has made art enjoyable to our family and through art therapy, we have a better bonding with our children.

Children’s Wishing Well provides a variety of different activities to support and develop the children to their fullest potential. We want the children to explore their creativity and expressiveness, which is why we decided to provide an arts program for them. Through our program with Art for Good, we discovered that some of the children had a hidden talent for art!

Adrenalin collaborated with Arts for Good over multiple events. We found them to be responsible in all sense of the word. They were responsible in providing the service promised and are a responsible social enterprise to their beneficiaries. Through all the sessions, they have learnt how to regulate their emotions better, taking turns and sharing art materials with each other.

Most importantly, it gives caregivers, like myself some respite while they are engaged with the therapy sessions. Their art works are gifted to people to promote gratitude and appreciation to others. We love Art for GOOD!

Amanda and her volunteers from Singapore brought smiles of joy and laughter to the refugees as they drew and painted images to express their feelings and anxieties.

The Art for Good team were also very professional in engaging the refugee community which included men, women, children and caregivers through their art and art therapy programmes which encourages creativity and the sharing of their thoughts.

The Art Therapy program by Art for Good has given the children from RDSS a voice by providing them a safe space for art expression and to explore difficult emotions. The art therapists work with a children centred approach, enabling the children to do well emotionally, mentally and physically! We have seen so much success through this ongoing partnership!

We have been very blessed to have Art for Good supporting an art therapy programme at a convalescent home near Kuala Lumpur since 2017. Amanda from Art for Good spearheaded this initiative and has organized about 3 sessions a year, each lasting 2-3 days. Their programmes are tailored for different groups of women, men and children - giving each person an outlet to express themselves. The art therapists have all been very generous with their time and energy and we are truly appreciative of the dedication they have shown!

My 3 boys have thoroughly enjoyed Amanda's session and she have inculcated fun learning thru art therapy and helping in their emotional regulation. Through the sessions, she patiently does the art work besides them and listens to them while working on the art pieces.

CaregiverAsia collaborated with Art for Good in December 2019 to conduct a Christmas themed watercolour workshop. Amanda was able to customize the workshop based on the preferences of the participants, and guided them in creating beautiful pieces of art using simple techniques. CaregiverAsia resonates with her philosophy of contributing to beneficiaries, hence the collaboration with Art for Good.

Art for Good has the right heart for serving underprivileged communities. Working in this field is challenging - consisting of limitations in resources like time, manpower and finances. Yet Art for Good team continues to keep their eyes, hearts and minds on their goal, as a social enterprise that uses Art for Good. I would encourage anyone who would like to support social causes to be a cheerleader for the Art for Good team!

Amanda was patient and could communicate well with the children. She also brought to our attention which children might have learning difficulties and / or behavioural issues who may need more help. There was definitely an increase in confidence and communication among the children. Most of all, the children had fun making art together.
