Art for Good created Sand Sculptures at the Pasir Ris Park Sand Pit as a community art initiative by People’s Association. The Sand Sculpture was based on the story “Little Mermaid” for the Pasir Ris Beach Art Festival with the theme “Long Long Ago”. There were three interactive components to the event. The first was the sand sculpture of the Little Mermaid, the second was a mermaid’s tail where the public could take photos with it and pose as a mermaid and the third was a sand play area, where we provided sand toys for the children to create their own sand sculptures!

Community Arts and Culture Division (People’s Association) organises a yearly PassionArts Festival with an objective of bringing quality arts programmes to the community, by the community.
