  • What is Art For Good?
    Art for Good, as a social enterprise under RAISE, embodies the essence of combining creativity with purpose. Its mission likely aligns with leveraging the arts to address social issues, promote well-being, and create a meaningful impact in communities. Social enterprises like this aim to sustain themselves financially while channeling profits into programs that drive positive social change.
  • Is Art for Good a non-profit organisation?
    While Social Enterprises need not necessarily be non-profit, most start ups usually operate in such a fashion. Art for Good is in the start up stage and it will be some time before it can attain sustainability and profitability. Ultimately, if the social enterprise can be profitable, it will mean that the work they do is self sustaining, which is a desired outcome for any organisation.
  • How are the profits split?
    We believe in enabling and empowering, we work with our artists and beneficiaries in partnership. For our online shop, 60% will go directly to the beneficiaries and the 40% will go towards online marketing and manpower costs for our operations. 10% of our profit generating revenue is dedicated to non-profit projects and programs which was unable to receive sufficient funding. 100% of the donations received, after the deduction of the payment gateway fees, will also go towards our dedicated non-profit programs.
  • What is the Art for Good Community about?
    Art for Good receives projects which will include both paid and volunteer assignments, where we open the work to our Art for Good Community group. We invite hobbyists, artists, art teachers and art therapists to be part of the WhatsApp group chat, where we post call outs to support our projects. A short self introduction is required before joining this group, so we can get to know you better as part of our community group!   • Who does Art for Good help?
    Art for Good works in tandem with different charities and organisations with a wide portfolio of beneficiaries. Art can be for everyone! Our focus would be in working with children in need, as it resonates deeply to the most of the causes at Art for Good. Our vision and mission situated around helping individuals towards good mental health and well-being starting from a young age, which are mostly children.
  • What does Art for Good provide?
    At Art for Good, we provide different art services and workshops for both individuals and groups: Art therapy sessions for groups and individuals, art jamming, art classes for children and those with special needs. You can also book our art studio for private events and sessions.   • I am a hobbyist / artist that would like to help. How can I help?
    Thank you for having a big heart in wanting to help! For a start, we encourage you to join our existing Art for Good Community group to participate in our existing projects. We are open to creative ideas and collaborations, where you can email in your ideas and we can see how we can develop these together from there!
  • I am interested to be an art teacher / registered art therapist. How can I apply?
    If you would like to apply for positions within Art for Good, we are only able to work with individuals who are Singapore Citizens, Singapore PR or have a Long Term Visitor Pass in Singapore. We currently do not have the headcount to hire full time foreign talents. Art teachers with relevant experience will be considered for our projects. For Art Therapists, only art therapists who have graduated with a Masters Degree in Art Therapy from Lasalle College of the Arts or the equivalent will be considered to work on any Art Therapy projects. Applications can be done on the form found at our contact us page, where you can also attach your resume / CV.
  • How do I volunteer or intern with Art for Good?
    We welcome volunteers and interns who want to help with the work at Art for Good! Some of the work includes social media content development, online shop management and various projects where we work directly with the beneficiaries. To be part of our projects, we suggest for individuals to join our Art for Good Community group, to participate in the various ad hoc projects we have on hand. To help in other areas, we do require a commitment of 3 months to able to work more productively. You can attach your resume and fill out the form on our contact us page.
  • I want to be a volunteer for Art Therapy Projects!
    Due to the sensitive nature of Art Therapy, we are unable to have volunteers sit in or be a part of the clinical art psychotherapy sessions. Only certified art therapists can conduct art therapy sessions or workshops. Sometimes, we allow assistants to help out for art therapy workshops, which are not clinical in nature. However, most of the work that we do are clinical and therapeutic. Volunteerism is suggested for community art projects, which may not necessarily be Art Therapy, but apply the Art as Therapy approaches in the work we carry out. We suggest to join our Art for Good Community group, if you would like to be involved in our projects.
  • Where can I get help?
    I am glad you asked for help. At Art for Good, we provide Art therapy services which support mental health by providing a creative space to express emotions, reduce stress, and build self-awareness.
